MBC Joins UN Global Agreement Initiative

MBC joined the UN Global Agreement Initiative. The largest network of responsible and sustainable business comprises more than 9000 companies and non-commercial organisations from 135 countries of the world and adheres to 10 main principles.

Business should:

  • Support and respect the universally recognised human rights.
  • Should not be involved in human rights violation.
  • Support and recognise freedom of meetings and associations and the right to 
  • collective bargaining.
  • Eliminate all forms of forced and compulsory labour.
  • Abolish child labour.
  • Eliminate any form of discrimination against job applicants and employees.
  • Support the preventive approach to environmental challenges.
  • Undertake initiatives and encourage the development of environmental responsibility.
  • Encourage the development and expansion of environmentally friendly technologies.
  • Work against all forms of corruption, including extortion and bribery.
